The AICTE-LILAVATI AWARD is a national initiative that is recognize and reward AICTE-approved technical institutions that take measurable steps toward women’s equality, welfare and empowerment across campus and community activities. The award encourages colleges and their teams to showcase impactful interventions from nutrition and maternal health to legal awareness, self-defence training and women’s entrepreneurship by using short video submissions and supporting documentation. the AICTE-LILAVATI AWARD invites teams (students and/or faculty) from eligible institutions to present work done in the last two years.

  1. Institutional or team entry must be from an AICTE approved technical institution or a deemed-to-be university.
  2. Teams should have a maximum of 5 members with at least 2 women in the team.
  3. The intervention submitted must have been executed within the last two years prior to the announcement date.

  2. Sign in complete Institute Details and ‘HOI Details’, add faculty and student information and then start ‘Application Form I’ and ‘Application Form II’ as directed.
  3. Choose the theme and category add up to five activities under a theme (with evidence), and upload required documents and the short video (4–5 minutes max).
  4. Preview the application then save as draft if needed, then submit. Institutes may submit multiple applications across themes rules as per the portal.
